主讲人简介：

Vivek R. Shinde Patil, Ph.D. is a Manager of Technical Applications at Caliper Life Sciences. He received his MS in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Memphis/University of Tennessee and his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University in 2002 with a research focus in Cellular Engineering. Prior to his current appointment with Xenogen/Caliper, Dr. Shinde Patil pursued a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Center for Molecular Imaging Research (CMIR), Harvard Medical School and a second fellowship with the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, Boston MA. His interdisciplinary research experience encompasses areas of cancer and stem cell biology, immunology, cellular biophysics and molecular imaging applications. He joined Xenogen Corporation, now Caliper Life Sciences in April 2006.
